120 gallon tank (commonly referred to as a 420 pound tank)

  • Size: approximately 54.4″ in height and 30″ in diameter
  • Placed vertically
  • Holds approximately 100 gallons of propane

250 gallon tank

  • Size: approximately 7′ 10″ long and 30″ in diameter
  • Placed horizontally
  • Holds approximately 200 gallons of propane

500 gallon tank

  • Size: 9′ 11″ long and 37.5″ in diameter
  • Placed horizontally
  • Holds approximately 400 gallons of propane

1,000 gallon tank

  • Size: approximately 16′ 2″ long and 41″ in diameter
  • Placed horizontally
  • Holds approximately 850 gallons of propane
